New beekeeper in North Carolina

I have had an interest in beekeeping for years but really never took the step to start until this spring.

After several months on reading books, internet sites and forums, I hived my first package last Wednesday.  Everything went by the book.  No stings even without gloves.  Still felt better wearing the hat and veil.  Bees appear to be fine after 3 days.  Looking forward to checking on them next week.

I am sure I will have questions soon.
