I am taking advice of many and purchasing both periodicals. Bee culture and Amer Bee Journal. Amazon offers both at  $45.95. Is this a good offer. Suggestions?

Often state clubs get a discount.
I know that both of my State clubs do.
It works out to something like buy the mag subscriptions and the membership is free. (something like $8 off each subscription).
This also gives you a little name sake with other beekeepers.
And who knows, it may line you up for cheaper conventions.

My club offers both at around $17 a year. ABJ is a bit more than BC but both around $17 for a year sub. :D

And fired the shot heard round the world
