We were swimming in the neighbors pool and a bee landed right in the water. I noticed it was a honey bee, caught it in my hand in the water. Let it crawl up my hand, it flitted its wings, crawled up my arm, got some water off of me, then flew off.

IT was cool!

I'm looking to get my hives this next March for my first beekeeping go.

It was neat. Had I not been interested in hive keeping I probaly never would have helped a lonely honey bee. Probably would have killed it.

anyway, it was neat.

Looking forward to getting my hives..

you are going to have a lot of fun with them.  sometimes i find myself just standing out there watching them.  it's a blast.  they are fascinating creatures.

The best relaxation therapy I've found is watching the bees and listening to the pigeons.  The other way around works too.
