Do you use them and when do you start? Do you make them yourself or do you buy them,from whom? How do you make them,with what ingrediants? Any other info will bee appreciated. Pembroke

Yes.

I've put patties on as early as Christmas and as late as never.  :)

I make them from pollen and honey.

I also like to put pollen out in the open in a hive (so it won't get wet) and let the bees collect it.  Just a solid bottom board, an empty box dump in the pollen and put on a lid.  Anytime it's warm enough to fly they will be tearing it up.
