I've been surfing around on bee and beekeeping sites and have a small question.  If the Langstroth hive is more or less the US standard, and not counting the TBH, do any other countries have different size standards?
I have seen several British hives that look very different.

be as amazed as you can possibly be
AŽ hive

frames are 410mmx260mm, for comparison, LR are 448mmx232mm

if you want to see what kind of hives they use in hungary, ask and give me your e-mail, pictures are a bit big to be uploaded on my gallery. BTW they are WAY different from our "normal" sized hives.
