Hannah-Davida

What an incredible web-site! I can tell I will be spending a fair bit of time here....possibly too much. My name is Hannah-Davida and I am a complete novice to the fine art of beekeeping. I spent a year learning with my neibour, a bee master in his own right, and now feel fairly confident in sarting my own colony. Alas, there are not too many sources for stock here so I'm limited to Italian Bees and Queens raised locally. Not that there's anything wrong with Italian Bees!
I look forward to learning with you!

Welcome to the forums.

I think you find some wonderful information here.

Hannah-Davida, about 30 years ago, when I was with my first husband (yes, I have been hooked up twice), his brother, sister-in-law and children lived in Lumby.  Lumby is a beautiful place, I had a chance to go to your town several times -- I love the interior of B.C.  This ex-brother-in-law moved away from this town many years ago I am sure.  But really I don't know for sure because I lost contact about 27 years ago with this family.

Welcome to the forums, your interior weather will be getting really nice soon.  Local stock is wonderful, they are acclimatized to your area's specific weather, so that is good.  Have an awesome best of the great day.  Cindi
