I just peeked at my bees, here at home. They are still alive!
My losses are 50% in every yard.
Home... 5 out of 10 dead
North Yard #1... 3 out of 6 dead
North Yard #2... 1 out of 2 dead
I am going to make some nucs from the survivors, if and when I can.

Due to the erratic weather this winter, that seems to be typical.  Most of the people around here lost 75%.

I have a friend with hives East of me, who lost 15 out of 16. The survivor
is a cup full of bees and a Queen.
I have already cleaned up some of my deadouts and repainted.

50% here, too.  Maybe more, depending on what this 3-day Easter freeze brings us.

Hive loss is such a bummer.  The clean white hives look great, hoping for a good season to come.  Best of this day and good health.  Cindi
