I was going to try and raise my own queens this year using the Mann Lake Queen Rearing Kit,but I can't start until June the 4th because of the way I have to work. Will this be to late in the year to start nucs? :-\

I don't know what happend to your other post.
That is when I plan to start, or later. As long as we get them going and build a good croud before fall. we'll be ok.

I am planning to raise queens until the end of September, I will winter a few of them in 5 frame nuc's (maybe 20-30), I wintered some in them last year (just 5 frame nuc with top feeder) I might sale a few this year but I am trying to get hive numbers built up enough to raise 100-200 queens next year, we will  have to see how everything goes...
THAT's ME TO THE LEFT JUST 5 MONTHS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!
