My observation hive swarmed today.   I had thought it was looking a little crowded in there recently.  I had been planning to  move a frame out to one of my weaker hives.  Oh, well.   Marked Queen gone.  About 3 or 4 Small queen cells in the middle of the hive
(Still Uncapped).   Most of the other cells are capped brood or larva/eggs.
Lots of capped honey.

I didn't notice until it was almost dark, so I didn't see a swarm hanging around anywhere.     I'll have to look in the morning.    Figures, I worked at home the last two days, if I had been around today, I would have seen it.

Funny think is,  Mrs. Leominsterbeeman, told me today that she notice a lot of bees flying today.  She would rather not be known as Leominsterbeewoman,  she wants nothing to do with the Bees.

Good luck to them surviving this winter in New England.

Maybe you can see and catch them
"Lurch my good man,…what did you mean when you said just now that 'You've got better things to do than run my petty little errands'…….?"

Too late in the season to start another colony. I had a hive swarm a couple weeks ago. I put it in a 4 frame NUC & then added to the weakest hive.
