great bee day

man did i have a great bee day.
started by looking over the swarm that my wife hived yesterday.

seems a wild hive decided to try to set up shop in one of my gutter downspouts!
wifey went out while i was at work and hived the little buggers without getting stung up!

i then began to build botom boards and top covers, the phone rings before i get the first one finished, swarm call from the local sherriffs office! woo hoo!!
off i go 5 miles down the road and am back within a half hour with a basket ball sized swarm in my trap. 8-)

i then get back to working on my bottom boarda and top covers, get one set finished except for the screen bottom board and the phone rings again!
another swarm call referred by the sherriffs officewoo hoo again!

this one was 15 miles away, finished up and back home in an hour and a half with a swarm in another trap! :-D

finish the bottom board and top cover for the first swarm and hive them in a medium because i am out of deeps, ( a good problem to have ) :roll:

i then hang swarm # 2 in my father in laws back yard across the street next to his hives, yes he got the smaller of the 2 swarms. :evil:

i then relax and watch my 3 new hives! 1 cut out from sunday ( cutout from hell ) and the 2 new swarms from yesterday and today.

i guess i will hive the smaller swarm for my father in law tomorrow, but as for now i am gonna finish this bottle of mead and hope i can get my bottom boards and top covers finished before i get called again tomorrow!
