triangular bee escape; wax tube

they call it an escape screen in the Brushy Mountain catalog. does anyone have a good picture of one or plans to make one? i'm looking to make it myself.
anyone have any good pictures of the wax tube applicator? same...looking to make it myself.

The $^* is simply a tube - I think Michael Bush said that it is copper - pinched together at the end with a hole drilled in it.  A wooden handle is inserted in the tube.  The handle has a hole in it to provide the vacuum to hold the wax up in the tube.  You can see a picture of it on my blog:

thank-you. that helps. i suppose that any non-heat conducting material would work as a handle.
i also found plans for a triangle escape board on the dave cushman website.
