bee question

 I was just curios as to how far the bees carry the dead bees away that die over time? I've had my bees since the 21rst of april and expected to see a few bees on the ground over time but have not.

i watched one...she went, i swear i could see that BIG dot and i was focused on it, i saw it for at least 100m.

also, sparows are cleaning in front of my hives, so...good luck with finding the dead ones, and there are hedgehogs, ants... a whole bee-related ecosystem.

take the time, sit in front of the hive (by the side) and watch, apitherapy plus learning

 You may not be having any dead. would be nice not to.
The red birds don't wait for the dead, they catch'em  live on the wing.

The insects eat them (ants, roaches etc.) and the shrews eat them and the they hide in the grass...

My hives are on the deck behind my house and I see the girls carrying out the dead all the time.  They don't take them far - about 6 or 7 feet from the hive.  I'm sure some are carried a long way, but for the most part, mine simply get them out of the hive and drop them ASAP.
