Smells good in here

Made up some new frames earlier today.

House smells like the wax foundations, real darn good.

When I was a young teen I raised bees for about 4 years. Now I'm 45 and started again. When I opened the box of frames that were coated with bees wax the smell brought back memories. I hadn't thought about that smell in years but wow was it great.

I thought I was the only nutcase who was vicerally effected by the evocative aroma of foundation. When I was a young teen I spent hours in our basement assembling frames and foundation for our farm's hives. It has been nearly 50 years when I just started again with a few bees and the smell of the foundation reset my clock. What a wonderful experience.

The scent of the hive is the most beautiful, clean and pur scent that I can possibly think of. I love to sit and listen and smell too, Linda.

That is why I keep a jar of propolis on my kitchen counter. That is my aroma therapy, it takes me to the beautiful and warmth of a lovely summer's day. Have the beautiful and wonderful life and day. Cindi
