Is this my queen in the pic ?

New guy here.
This is the second time in my new hive. I do not think that I saw any eggs or young larvae.
This hive was bought from a nuc 10 days ago. I do not see any queen cells and assume that
if there was a problem I would see supercedure cells.

Yes, I believe I see your queen.

Have you every seen eggs before and any hive. It can be difficult. The angle that you hold the comb can make a dramatic difference.

look into the cells of the frame with the sun over your shoulder. you may see something like a very tiny rice grain just about in the centre of the cell. thats the egg

As sean says...

keep changing the angle and bingo, you will see very small larva and eggs.

Yes the queen is in the right lower side of your picture - and if you look left a couple of inches and down 2-3 rows you can see larva and maybee an egg or two. Queen looks healthy. check hive in a week or so and you will be better able too see the larva.

good eyes bbq!! sometimes a flashlight helps, or just taking a bunch of pictures and looking at them later. sometimes i just go out and shoot 50 pics of a bunch of frames and then take my time to see what i missed on inspection.

now that i seem to need reading glasses even to find my hives, the camera has been very helpful :-)
