You have a very valid point and I meant to add that to my comments.  There is no questions that this method would be virtually impossible for a commercial keeper or probably anyone with more than several hives to do.

I imagine that is one reason why it is voluntary at this point. 

I don't think I want any clump of bees falling on my head... :)

No, I don't have any info on how to manage africanized bees.  Nor do I have any africanized bees.  I do, however, have a link on how to requeen a very hot hive.

I think it's irresponsible to keep hot bees.  Someone could get hurt and beekeeping gets a bad name.
