Ok is this a joke or what, what about this Super Boost. Just read about it in "catch the buzz"  Tony

Just more crap people try to do to the poor bees. Squeeze out all you can from them. Wait until it catches on and more problems develop for the bees.

How can this be healthy for the bees, overworking them 'til their brains fall out.

It's tough enough being a honey bee these days  :-P

Working them to death was my take on it, too.  If the treated bees begin to forage earlier in age, what happens to the dynamics inside the hive?

You need nice normal healthy bees. Not bees suffering from roid rage(Steroids). If you want hyped uped bees with no meds we will be more than happy to send you some of our AHB queens. Then lots of bees will come out of the hive.

realize where this is coming from...its not the health of the bees that is the concern but the pollination of nuts.

I thought they already did a pretty good job of working themselves to death.
Those people dont look at possible long term effects. They look at the bottom line. Kind of like growth hormones for beef. Feed them less because you grow them quicker and bigger, less time in the feed lot = more money. And after years of doing that, we are now seeing studies on the effect of eating that beef has on people and the possible link to some medical problems.

The bees already do that to themselves!

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

I think it is just some kind of BROOD PHEROMONE - if it is just that i am wondering if it will keep a queen-less hive from becoming laying worker.IF you want your bees to gather more and more pollen try a pollen trap they will keep gathering trying to get caught up -but at the same time your nectar gathering will suffer and less honey will be the result .more to be revealed i am sure  RDY-B

they said in the catch the buzz- that Mannlake was selling it -I didn't think they would exploit the bees-I hope there is some good science behind it -so far the reaction is not good   :?  8-) RDY-B

I agree, also more work means shorter life span. if it stimulates more laying and earlier foraging then the mortality rate of the brood must go up which will lead to smaller population in the long run :-\
