Welcome to the forum.

Many years ago I made a few trips to Vernon, NY to race at Utica-Rome.

You will learn a lot and get lots of help here. This is my main source of learning about my beekeeping. Whenever I have a problem, I post it here and gets lots of help. You will get many answers to your questions and they may be different, as beekeepers have many ways of doing the same things. I usually take an average, and then trust my own instincts.

How many bee hives do you have and when did you start beekeeping?

Good luck and keep us updated how you are doing.

Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)

My father and I had bees when I was a kid. I got back into it recently. Got 7 hives now. Like everyone else I plan to expand, slowly. I have been reading this forum for a long time and finally joined in. Lots of info here. Mr Bush is a smart man. I may post now and then but I'm better at reading than writing. Thanks for all the welcomes from you people.

That was about the same timeframe I passed thru there.

First with the vintage cars, must have been late 80's because I graduated college in 90.  I think this picture is actually from Utica-Rome.

And then I was back a few times with ELS in the mid 90s.

I was ELS point champion in 94, but was done after 96 myself.

Glad to have you join the forum :-D

My friend and neighbor just took over Woodhull speedway in Steuben County in 2006!

I raced there once too.  :-D  Nice little high banked track...That was quite a haul for us...
