I live on the Delaware River and just bought 2 used bee hives.  I plan on starting in Spring 2008 ( I know that I have a lot of prep work to do now). I have a couple of new of books but will need lots of hands on experience also.  Anybody close to Hunterdon Co/NJ or Berks/Bucks Co/PA?

Welcome aboard and good luck on your new venture (adventure). There are so many challenges in beekeeping these days. My best advise is get involved in a local beekeeping club. Find someone to mentor you and set realistic goals. You will avoid many pitfalls that have deterred other new beekeepers.
