We have a little old house in Southern Oregon which has a real small town USA feel with a Main Street and all...very cute...We can walk to town from our house.  ( I go there to visit my granddughter ).

Anyhoo, last November as we walked down the street, We noticed lot's of HB's above the awning of a store.  Low and behold, the were many flying in and out of a crack in the masonry wall.  Where one building is butted against the other..The crack showed signs of being patched previously with roof patch , but the busy lil bees were just happy to find 2 entrances...Well I went again this weekend the the hive was very active!

So...very cold temps in this town, lot's of rain, many deciduous trees, no one inspecting the hive or feeding or yadda yadda yadda, and they sure look to be thriving...hhhhmmmm  NATURE...wow

Sharon, oooooh, what a pretty little picture you painted in my mind's eye.  I love that feel of stepping back in time, a small country town, beautiful feeling that gives.....thank you for taking me there.  And so cool about the bees, seems that they feel that ol' time country small time too.......beautiful day, beautiful life, beautiful, beautiful.  Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service
