I am about to order a new bee suite. Domed hood or hat and veil? I want one with a hood/veil that zips to the coveralls. Opinions please. Steve

I much prefer the english hood without requiring a helmet.

I still wear the same type of I started with, tan shirt and pants and an excelsior veil.  Rubber bands or velcro strips to seal the sleeves and pant legs.  A pair of bicycle pant clips work great too.  I just bought a new pair of pants for my bee suit, tan cargo pants with ties at the ankle for blousing.

I have two kinds...The one with the helmet, which i used most, and the one that zips to my jacket. So far I like them both ok.
I always use the veil with the helmet and drawstring when we're having pictures taken! Oh yeh,...Actually I find that with the helmet veil the rim of the helmet holds the screen away from your face. Of course, with my built in veil a ball cap underneath serves the same purpose too.
