I was digging out some of my old stuff today trying to get what I needed for a couple brood boxes together, and I found enough of the Pierco frames and foundation for both boxes. Does anyone use these frames? I am planning on using it on a couple 3lb packages I ordered.

I've used them. There are still a few in some of my hives and they are working well. Though I have grown to appreciate the Mann Lake Ltd PF-120's even more.

Just be sure to feed them like crazy.
Plastic is best accepted with a flow.
Try to use full supers of exclusively plastic.
Any other wood/wax alternative will surely detour them.

Every time I see that avatar, and then read the post I think "WHEN DID I WRITE THAT!?!?!"

I started using Pierco last year as a starting point to regressing my bees to small cell foundation.  I haven't had any issue with it.

I had used the plastic frames before and didn't have any issues then I was just wonting some opinions of what some of you thought. Thanks for the replys.
My next question. I got my book from Brushy Mountain today and saw where they are talking about there IPM bottom boards, do these things work? I haven't had any bees in about 6 or seven years and don't remember seeing them before.

They were developed as a result of the varroa mite, so they were real new, if they existed at all, 6-7 years ago.  I've by passed IPM BBs and gone to screened slatted racks.
