Yesterday I got to spend the afternoon with a man that I concider to be my mentor.  He invited me to come over and soend time with him after we met at the local beekeepers meeting.  It was an awesome and information filled day.  I have read everything I can , but those hours with the bees made it all make sense.

Here is a link to some pics I took.

Amazing pix. I've had some great experiences with my mentor guy too.. was really fun to visit an active apiary. I was so excited to start afterwards. Goodluck

It really makes a difference to get some hands on experience and gives you more confidence that you could actually do this.

Good for you.

I just love a Bee Yard with a view, really nice area. Nice close-ups too.  :-D

Mike, how nice that that happened.  The pictures were great (mostly, except for the blurry ones, hee, hee), I love the look of the dark bees.  Isn't that just a lovely beeyard set up, beauty.  Have a fantastically wonderful day, we be lovin' life.  Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service
