Well its only been a week, I see some capped cells around the top and a corner here or there. I think I see some cells with larvae?? I don't know for sure, but they are working along. neither hive is aggressive and I see pollen coming in, There are lots of dead bees in front of the hive. ( around 20 )They seem ok but I noticed that on inspection that there are really a lot of drones, I figure there drones due to the size about double the rest? Its only been a week that the queen is released. Am I worrying for nothing, They seem ok but i guess that I thought I should see more capped or more obvious eggs? Ahhh whats a newbie to do?? Thought I would add a couple pics. Bare with me,, still thrilled with silly pictures.

twenty dead ones is nothing. Even a hundred can mean nothing after a completete inspection or other events and time of year. Dont worry. If more than twenty percent are drones, and the drones are not limited to the edges, frames bottoms, burr comb, then maybe you have a problem. Drone cells look like 22cal bullets.. Ussually on edges and frame bottoms etc. If they are smack dab in middle of brood area and frame, than consider worry.
