I recent read some of the material provided by the forum; and found the articles written by George Imirie very interesting and informative. In one of the articles, he indicated that he was ~ 84. I suspect he must be close to 90. I appreciated his frankness and straight forward manner of sharing his thoughts.

Did he write any bee keeping books?

Whoever took the time to capture the material, thanks!!!   :)

Tucker

Sorry.  No.  He passed away last September. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/05/AR2007100502370.html

Michael:  Thanks for the reply.  It sounds like Mr. Imirie was a character and very knowledgable about beekeeping. I've enjoyed reading the articles I've found posted by forum members.

Thanks again.
