Bad JP, Bad JP!!!

Yep, I did a bad thing. Remember that huge swarm in the shopping basket at walmart? Here's a reminder:

Well, they've been on my back porch for 36 days now in the box I housed them in, ok, let me have it, I deserve it!

Time sure flies but there is no excuse for keeping them in the box for that long WITH the queen banked in a queen catcher.

I know, I'm a pitiful human for doing that but to redeem myself, I am happy to announce I did the transfer today!!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Am I less pitiful now? I don't know.

A few quick notes. One, a good majority of these bees drifted downward into a hive that is queenright weeks ago, cause that hive is huge.

Two, We will see if that queen produces as she has been caged for so long, if in fact she has been mated in the first place.

Three, I gave them some brood frames so we'll see if they feel the need to supercede or what.

JP, oh dear, oh dear, hee, hee. The follies of the human beast!!! We all forget stuff, I am one of the worst with that, hee, hee. That queen is probably just gonna do fine, she has been fed by the bees, they have been taking care of her, not a doubt in my mind. Now, bad boy, don't do that again :-P Have a most wonderful beautiful day, we all be lovin' and livin' this groovy life we share. Cindi

Man, Cindi, I guess I must scare some on here, cause I've given everyone an opportunity to drag me through the coals and all I get is a measily little bad boy, don't do it again, :-D

I may have to take off my belt and beat myself with it! :-D

The bees seem to be doing fine and thanks for the lashing, albeit a kinda weak one. ;)

JP, oh MrSwamKing, don't beat yourself up, hee, hee, it ain't worth it!!! We all make mistakes and what you did I don't see as a mistake, I see that as a learning curve, and you know this, learnin' is what us human race do best, hee, hee. I really didn't forget about the bees, I had a feeder out for 'em, the time just kinda flew by on me and I kept tellin' my wife, "I really need to house the walmart bees, they've been in that box with the queen in the catcher for way too long!"

I am guilty as charged though for having them in for so long, it was my bad, and I take full responsibility.

The beatings will begin shortly! :-D ...Unless, I can get some forum members to berate me for my terrible deed, come on and show me what you've got!!!
