Fondant feeding...CS Vs HFCS

Just curious...if the fondant only lists CS does that mean it is NOT HFCS?

How bad is CS for my girls...they( the tree hive) have no stores to speak of..that I can see.
My other hives are ok..light but some fairly good stores.

Could you all suggest what I might need for the spring buildup. We have a short flow early on. My intention is to split the healthy hive 70/30 and requeen.

Mega-Bee ok to use? Honey Bee Healthy??? Better or not?

Also..to crack or not on the cover...shim it?
I know I'll need someone local to answer this..will go out today to see another Beek...so I may find out when I see him.

I'm assuming CS is cane sugar.  It's the closest thing you'll find to nectar.  Nectar is mostly sucrose. Cane sugar is mostly sucrose.  HFCS is chemically altered corn starch and is 99% fructose.  The compound fructose in nectar and cane sugar is not the same compound fructose found in HFCS.  HFCS is not good for people, it's not good for pets, how can it be good for bees? :?
