Hello everyone,

Sherman here from Red Bud Ill. About 45 miles SE of St. Louis, MO.
I've had my bees for 12 mos. & 9 days now. We're still getting acqainted. My new father-in-law
of 18 mos. gave me his established hive. I mentioned that I'd like to get some bees and started researching. Much to my suprise, 4 mos. later, he gave me his! How cool is that!!!!

I browsed your forum last night for 2 Hrs. and realized this is the place to be for info. Hope your all
patient, cause I'm full of questions.

You don't need a parachute to sky dive.... you do how ever need one to sky dive twice.

He does like you doesn't he?  I haven't figured out if he is saying thank you for taking his daughter off his hands, or punishing you...

Sherman, welcome to our forum, so nice that you have found us, and we have found you, smiling.  That is so wonderful that your Father-in-Law gave you that colony.  This is a great place where you will love to spend time, you can ask as many questions as your heart desires.  Never fear that a question will ever be unimportant, all questions are learning tools for all of us.  We were all beginners at one point in time, stick around.  We have a place here too where you can tell your tales, stories and experiences.  Have that wonderful and beautiful day, health, love our life.  Cindi
