I was wondering if the bees are swarming in Northern Ky or southwestern Ohio area yet ?

Its getting warm now and it seemed last year about 2 weeks into may they started around here and then it was nuts for a few weeks.

I know of one Bee keeper that got 50 swarms  I got 12 myself.

I have not had any calls yet. Last year was a busy year for them, lets hope that this year is the same. Where do you live?

When you talk about swarms, are you speaking of your own bees swarming, other beeks or wild honey bees? Also, do non-honey bees swarm?

Bee section of my blog: http://jeremy.lifewithchrist.org/category/bee-keeping.html ... has stories, pictures and videos of a new beekeeper.

I live in N.East KY and am on every swarm list around. I have 8 swarm traps set by hives and bee trees out in the wild, I check the traps once a week and have the land owners where the traps is set looking for swarms, have not had anything yet but I would say it is getting close.
