I have sat and watched my bees bring in pollen. The colors I have seen thus far have been a pale yellow, dark yellow, bright yellow, light green and bright orange. I read in one of my books (Beekeeping for Dummies) that soon you will be able to tell what type of plants my bees are foraging from. I am curious, is there a chart somewhere or a list of colors and their associated plants?

Jere, check our NC Agri Extension Office.  They have lots of interesting stuff on that site.

I guess I am confused as to where to go. I did a google search and found a few places for NC State College Agriculture Extension, but I couldn't find anything about bees. Do you have a link?

Thanks
