Hello All ~

When you say to add a box when 7 to 10 frames are "drawn out with comb" does that mean just the comb draw or filled with brood/nector/pollen?  I'm using frames that are already drawn out with comb so I'm not sure when to add another box??

I added a brood box on top of a filled box of brood & now the bees have moved up and are all over the previously drawn comb.  I doesn't look like there's a lot brood or reserves there yet but there are bees all over the frames & comb.  Should I add a super?  We have a lot of flowers & trees blooming  (mayday trees, lilacs, etc) so I'm not sure whether to add a super now or wait?

Thanks for any suggestions ~ FG

I add when 8 or more are covered with adult bees when I remove the lid, if there is a flow going on.
Others may do differently.
