I got my first sting yesterday and now I am paying the price.  Looks like I need to invest in some benadryl, now I new a would have a reaction to wasp and hornets since I have to carry an eppy pen for those, but since I have never been stung by a bee in my life I have read that it wouldn't be as bad.  Guess they were right since I didn't need to go to the hospital, but it still hurt all day and now it still itches and is swollen.  I was just wondering how long this would go on for. :-D

A few day's probably. When I get stung now it only last for about an hour two week's ago I took over 30 hits at a bee yard and an hour later no itch or burning.

mine will go on as long as 2 weeks for some stings.  if you are going to do the benadryl, get the childrens liquid along with the caplets.  when you are stung take a chug of the liquid first, then if you are swelling a lot in another hour or so, take one or two of the 25mg caplets.  also take an anti-inflammatory.  Motrin, Tylenol, aspirin.  you'll go to sleep, but it will help.

Got hit on the ear Sunday. Still feels warm and a bit swollen this morning.

My wife has a grand time taking pictures whenever I get stung.
