have 24 hives looking to double in spring and double again in summer im out of drawn comb how to get max comb but still bee able to make splits . what type of foundation? any certain sequince for installing

I typically use no foundation.  It will only slow them down and give them an artificial template for the cells.  I'd divide up the drawn comb between the splits so they all have some room for the queen (assuming you have enough for that) and fill the rest in with foundation or foundationless.  Always put the brood together in the center and stores outside that and empty comb outside that.
