Are they still looking at this or has it been scratched out for possible varroa control?

Very good question. :)
Is it possible, control was taken over by "big brother"
to save chemical producers?

it had a poor shelf life and it was hard to control application.  it appears that it was effective, but that the production and use was a problem.  maybe someone will figure it out.....but....i'm not sure i'd be any more pleased to put a fungus in my hive than i am to put meds in my hive.  not that i don't do it on occasion :-)

If it truly had no effect on the bees and you could use it in fall after honey harvest, I would not mind it myself.  Something similar to this would be great for knocking out SHB come fall so they cant make it through the winter in cluster.  Im guessing that temperature requirements may have been part of the road block.

Kathy, do you have a link to any of the info you stated?
