The bees are finally bringing in some pollen. They've been working hard on nectar but the pollen has been slow to come. They finally found some and now it's coming in by the bucket.

Hi, this message is coming from Ed M.'s wife, Elaine.  I hope this message posts, I'm not very good at this computer.  Please be advised that my husband, Ed M. passed away on April 12, 2005 from a heart attack.  He so loved his bees and was excited about getting back into them.  I wanted to post this message to explain why he has not responded.

So VERY sorry to hear about your loss Elaine!  Please know our thoughts are prayers are with you.  I didn't know Ed personally, but I can see by his photography that he loved what he did, and any friend of the bees is a very special person.  If there is anything this online community can do for you, please let us know.

I am sorry for your loss.  Ed was fairly new to the board, but we enjoyed the pictures he posted and his enthusiasm for the hobby.  He will be missed

I'll bet he is in a beeyard somewhere.

Very sorry to hear this.

Very sad news Elaine:

Ed was just getting active here and it was very good to see him in the forum. God bless you and your family. In memory, I will retire his name and no one will ever use it here again.

I hope your memories long out-weigh your mourning.
