new mexico is to far away for me. and phoenix is a bit of a drive to get to right now. espesialy sence my truck broke down on me today in the rain. :'( had to walk like 3 miles in it while it was pouring.

Yes, New Mexico is too far AND New Mexico Beekeepers Assoc isn't worth it IMHO.  I sent them dues for a couple years and got nothing in return except a welcome letter.  They never responded to my letters or e-mails requesting newsletters, information, website login i.d., etc.  You are better off with one of the regional grounps if you are in New Mexico...

no Problem I love it when people vent. we all need to vent some times.

and omg  $150.00 to go to a convention that is just down the street if I am not staying there or eating there what the  hell is up with that horse bleep?
to that place here in orcal that is like 20 mins down the road from me. thats where I do my packaging of spices and honey bottleing lol... so as if I am going to pay $150.00 to get some hands on exp.
