When I used to help my father hive swarms, he would always rub peach tree leaves on the inside of the hives to "get them to stay".  It was always peach, not apple, pear, fig, cherry, persimmon or plum, but only peach.  Has anyone else heard of this?  Could it mimick pheronomes like lemon grass oil does?
