I'm building up new frames/foundation and trying my hand at wiring the foundation.  How embedded into the foundation does the wire need to be?  I dont have a spur embedder so I'm trying to melt the wire in with a 1 amp battery charger.  I'm having a hard time getting the wire embedded all the way along the foundation, is that a problem?
Are holes in the foundation (around the wire) a problem?

I just dont want to waste my time (snf foundation) trying to embed 50 more frames of foundation without getting some experienced thoughts first.

thanks

After years of experimenting, some successful, some total failures, I finally broke down and spent 50 bucks for the Kelly transformer and embedder. I have never regretted it.

The wire is just to keep the wax from warping or falling. No, it doesn't have to be embedded all the way across, but it looks better and stays straighter if it is most of the way.

thanks Iddee, I'll keep on embedding, I'm sure I'll figure it out better as I go.
