They said we could check the colony 7 days after we put it in the hive.  Do I just peek in or can I pull & inspect each frame?

Thanks

Is it that u added drawn combs or u letting them start form scratch??
Hopefully u get more inputs from the more-experienced beeks but i'd go all out-mainly to check and make note of progress.
I've chosen understanding over knowledge-since knowledge is all about knowing where to find facts and understanding is knowing how to manipulate knowledge...I've also chosen knowledge over beliefs!! We all need to..

If it was a package, pull frames until you find eggs. Then close it up for 7 more days. Then do whatever you want after that.

I hived them on the 20th onto undrawn foundation.  So i can check what comb they have for eggs & pull the queen cage.

I'm with idee.  Find eggs and you know you have a queen.  Then leave them alone for another week... but a glance in now and then won't hurt to make sure things are progressing and so  you can watch what they do and learn.
