I found this the other day and was wondering if any of you more experienced beekeeper's have tried this?

No, I have not tried it but read a similar article about it in the Bee Journal this spring and it does sound like a mastery of manipulation. Someday I may be ready to try this myself. Not to imply that I am an experienced beekeeper-just that it was very interesting.
