How long does the swarm season run?  I caught two swarms two weeks ago and picked up another swarm one week ago from a tree.  I just put two swarm traps back out in the woods.  How long does the swarm season last and is it at its peak right now in mid michigan?

I have heard of a couple already here, and my bees were full of QC's so i would imagine for at least another couple months. I had a swarm in Aug last year. It depends on managment of the hives. If they get to full and have need for a swarm they will. I expect it to last 3 months now is hot later on not so hot. Just keep looking and grab when the getting is good.
Each new day brings decisions,  these are  new branches on the tree of life.

Here on the west coast I usually figure from around early to mid may to mid june.  This year has been anything but usual for the bees...

I catch swarms right through the end of July.  Late one's dont build up for Michigan winters but these late swarms, just like early one are great for drawing out foundation.  Put them to work the combine them
