Well, its finally over folks! All three colonies are in hive boxes ready to be moved to Schawee's apiary on Monday night.

We decided to leave them there a few days longer to allow the bees the chance to orient a little more to their new set ups and secure combs to frames before they are moved for good.

You can't help but walk away with a real sense of accomplishment on a job of this magnitude.

We spent three full days on this job, it was very hot all three days and we both took several stings but it was worth it, and would and likely will do it again, just not anytime real soon! Its recuperation time now!

Like all my videos, they are shared with you because of my love of the honey bee. What amazing little insects they are!

We sure had a good time folks, hope you enjoy the videos, and y'all have a good day!

The cold wet rag over my head and neck is what allowed me to even function yesterday, it was so friggin' hot!

The bee vac can't hold that many bees at one time but it gets the job done.  ;)
