first extraction

Newbees this yr. and got 30 lbs from our one good hive yesterday!!!!!!  That's a LOT of work!  but fun.  Wish I knew how to load a picture so I could show you the capped frames.  We put the empty frames back on the hive and I froze the cap wax.  what else do I need to do?

how long should I leave the empty frames on the hive for cleaning?

They will have everything cleaned up in hours, but leave it one for a day.

Took the cleaned up super off last night and put the frames in the freezer.  there was a few capped cells on the very ends that I missed, shouldn't bee a problem, correct?

also, reading the excluder thread, I did not use one but,  When the first honey box was drawn out about 80% we put a second box on.  Then we flipped the two boxes so the new non drawn was below the 90% full box.  they have not drawn very much of the second box.  should I have put the extracted one below the newer non drawn?  Maybe I could have gotten more honey.

question 3.  when I went to get the extracted frames they were clean but bees were still all  over the frames so I shook them off in front of the hive.  you don't think there was a chance in Hades that the queen could have been up there do you???  Please say no, I didn't even think about it before I shook them all off.
