A few years ago a purchased two car magnets from Thornes(?) in England.  One reads "CAUTION - Bees In Transit" and the other reads "CAUTION - Beekeeper Beekeeping."

I have found these very useful to stick on the tailgate of my truck when moving bees or working in my apiaries, but they're showing their age now.  Has anyone seen anything like this for sale here in the states?  That overseas shipping is pretty steep and I'd love to keep the money here in this country, too, considering the economy.

Brushy has a magnetic beekeeper sign 8" by 3".  There are also some bumper stickers there.    I think most all the catalogs have something in them.  I have also seen the white oval beekeeper sicker for the back of your car around.   Think they are on Ebay.

Yes!  I had business cards and magnetic signs and a hat printed by Vista print. They do a good job, and are very reasonably priced. They have a ton of products you can have printed, and you can get like 250 business cards for free! Just go to Vistaprint.com. I have been very satisfied with them.

Thanks for the info about vista print!  I've seen the signs that notify people of the presence of honey bee yards and the bumper stickers, but I LOVE my magnets that inform people that I'm actively working my bees.  If someone stops by while I'm working, they know that I have the hives open.  You should see how nice the other drivers on the Interstate are when they know you have bees in the truck, too!

i don't have any.  always thought they'd be nice.  have found that a few stray bees buzzing around the hives in the back of the truck are sign enough.  great way to keep people from tailgating.

I use vistaprint for my cards as well and have seen where they have 8 1/2x 11 magnets for less than $10

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Thanks for the great advice. After you get the 250 free business cards it looks like you can get 500 more for $10. You can't beat that deal with a stick.
They also sell reasonably priced banners with the ability to use your own designs. A nice banner can really boost your honey sales at farmers markets.

My wife uses vista, I have nothing bad to report. If you want something local where you can talk face to face with your seller, there's bound to be a printer who can refer you locally for magnetic signs (if they aren't listed under magnetic signs in the phone book).
