Anyone try/buy the Brushymountain sideliner uncapper

But there is a lot of money there.   You would have to run a lot of boxes to pay for it.   When my electric knife goes out (or I just find one) I would like to get a planner to uncap with.

Keep your eyes open for used equipment. I was only thinking about an extractor a year ago and ended up with 20 frame vertical radial Maxant extractor, Cowan uncapper, uncapping tank, pump,bottling tank, and some accessories for less than a new extractor I was thinking about. Granted the equipment is 20 or 30 years old but I'm guessing it will outlast me :-D

That is a bit pricey but well worth it if I had 20 more hives.

I found a Cowan Uncapper on Ebay for 99 cents right now. (can't post link)
It is pretty old but would do the same thing. I am sure you can find good uncappers for real cheap. No need to drop a small fortune...
I have had 2 hives for the last 3 years. I keep an emergency button on myself for allergic reactions. Beekeeping is my passion and I try to spread my love for bees everywhere I go.
