I have a question, hopefully someone here can answer. I bought some Honey-B-Healthy thought I would give it a try to see how it works, but it says on their website to remove the honey supers before you use it, dose anyone know why you have to remove the supers? also dose that mean all honey supers or just those that honey would be extracted for human consumption. they don't really tell you why you need to remove them so I thought I would ask here.    :?

it's not honey if the bees put other stuff in there.  it would only apply to those you are extracting.  you have honey supers on that you are not extracting?

Honey b healthy is fine if you are feeding all your hives at the same time with a hive top feeder or pail feeder do not open feed  or entrance feed with it.  Its like crack to honey bees, they love it.  It works great to spray your undrawn frames with it, bees tend to draw and accept frames easier.  The honey b healthy  has oils and spearment in it so if you have it on with honey supers your honey will all taste funky.  I wouldnt use it in the middle of summer when there is a dearth of nectar the bees will rob and possibly kill a hive with honey b healthy why ??  the bees can smell it and they will rob or destroy a healthy hive to rob it out.  If you use regular sugar water they wont smell it as much and it wont cause robbing like honey b healthy will.  I dont use it personally i have in the past till i had a major robbing problem.   Chris
