I would like to try packing out about a dozen squares of cut comb honey for personal use and maybe a few as gifts.   The bee supply houses sell square plastic boxes for packaging this honey, and Brushy Mountain offers even offers to sell these boxes individually instead of lots of 100.  Before I go ordering a few of these,  is there another option that will result in a nice presentation of the honey?

In large mouth jelly or pint jars you can buy at Wallyworld.  If you use the pint jars you can insert 2 pieces of comb.

You get more money for jars of honey with comb in it.  I have seen just comb in Food Saver vacuum sealed bags.   They were cool to look at.

Look into Bee O Pacs in the bee catalogs also.

I belive the poster is refering to cut comb not chunk (comb and honey).

I belive plastic trays are about the norm if not running Ross Rounds. Some folks fancy the labels and exterior packing for gifts.

Most of the boxes offered are the size of the comb cutters, giving a good fit and appearance.

Reminder: make sure you put it in a deep freeze for a few days prior to or after packaging to kill wax moth eggs!

I have purchased inexpensive Rubbermaid type square containers from Big Lots, Dollar General, etc. for just blocks of cut comb.  The "chunk" honey in a jar might be popular where you are but in our neck of the woods people aren't accustumed to eating comb and I have to a lot of selling and marketing to get them to try it.

I found a few not to deep plastic boxes from the grocery that will hold comb for personal consumption.  I may get a few of the cut comb boxes from the bee supply house to use for gifts etc.
