handling damage drawn comb

When I extracted my honey it threw a lot of the wax out of the frames, some more and some less. Right now I have the frames in a super on a bottom board W/cover next to the big hive letting them rob the honey out. Should I just melt the wax when they are done, or put what is left of them back in the hive for repair, or a little of both?

I guess that would depend on the damage.  If you have a lot of foundation buckling that you can't straighten out, melt it down, make candles, whatever.  Try to salvage what you can.  The more you can save the less your bees have to work building comb and the more they are in the fields working for you.
