will bees start collecting pollen right away or do they wait a few days until they find the flowers
A swarm of bees in May is worth a load of hay; A swarm of bees in June is worth a silver spoon; A swarm of bees in July isn't worth a fly.

They will bring on pollen as soon as they find it when they need it.
