Purchasing bees

Live in central pa and would like to know how late can I order or purchase bees with queen and any bee company recommendations.

 a lot of places are sold out. Check craigslist and you might find someone that has them nearby. If you have a bee association in your area, you may someone who is going to be doing split or making nucs that they'll sell you.

yeah, you need to find a local beekeeper.  it's not spring yet but it's late to be trying to run down packages.

I just did a quick search on craigslist and found two people selling bees. They look like an hour or so drive from you. One is in Hazen, Pa and the other is in Brookville, Pa.

BeeWeaver will ship package bees overnight via UPS......but it ain't cheap.......You better act fast though........time is running out. 

I agree though...finding a local Beek that would sell a NUC or even a complete colony would be best.

Check with Brushy Mountain. I know the delivery dates for NC were sold out,but they may have some available for the PA store in May.
