Ant control - Stick-em-Special ?

Has anyone ever tried this particular product http://www.bugsforbugs.com.au/stick-em-special/ ?

I'm aware of other effective ant barriers (oil traps), but this seems like a good alternative to just applying
oil with a brush (which has not always been helpful).

I guess it could get a bit expensive though.
